Has it been confirmed that the new lifts at Crystal Mountain are going to be quads?

Just speculation on my part. Twin Skytrac quads would make sense. But it’s Crystal so you never know.

That would be cool. Considering how few people go on Gold Hills, I wouldn’t be surprised to see them stick with a triple. Too bad Skytrac can’t use the much better looking Garaventa chairs instead of their ugly Garaventa lookalikes.

Wondering what happened at Loveland, guessing either the lift did not have a evac drive or it had issues..

Rope evac is always plan C or D. Not plan B.

When you went to Mammoth did you notice that the Schoolyard Express appears to have six pack terminals even though its a quad? Any idea why?

I did notice. The only thing I can think of is they needed more room for the height adjusting equipment.

I’ve seen a few high speed quad with six-pack terminals and I think it’s possibly designed that way for growth.

Peruvian and Little Cloud at Snowbird have six pack terminals even though they are quads, and I think it is because the six pack line gauge is better on windy days. Not entirely sure though

Peter, off-topic question. What’s the difference between and UNI-G and a UNI-G-M terminal? I noticed this designation on one of your pictures of Cloudchaser at Mt. Bachelor.

The last letter is the length of the terminal – small, medium or large. M=medium.
