    Did Owl’s Head end up buying the Atomic Express from Horseshoe Resort because I can’t find anything about Horseshoe Resort being in Owl’s Head portfolio of properties. I think it will be hard to find a buy for a lift of this scale because it’s so uniquely short.

      Yeah the Owls Head connection doesn’t make a whole heck of a lot of sense. Aside from the fact they run a bunch of the same era Dopplemayer lifts.

        Would Owl’s head use horseshoe’s high speed quad to replace le petit quad (a borvig fixed grip quad)?

      Owls Head has bought old used detachables in the past, so it’s not out of the question.

      And I should add that some of those Moonlight “future lifts” don’t seem to make a lot of sense for anything. And nothing shows a lift that would provide access from the Madison Village base up to near the top of Lone Tree. That terrain now takes two lifts to get to unless you just lap Lone Tree. A shame, because there’s some nice skiing back there.

        Exactly what I was thinking… some of the MLB lifts don’t really make sense, at least to me… and yea, wasn’t a Madison Base-Lone Tree top lift supposed to be part of the long-term plan?

        Also looks like a lot of the proposed lifts in those plans are for real estate access as opposed to actual new ski terrain..
