Will Molly Hogan also be an Alpha given how short it is? Does Poma (rather than Skytrac) have another terminal design to use for something this short? It looks like there are at least three Alpha front masts for bottom-drive depression sheaves (two per lift). Will Molly be realigned? There is plenty of room between Pali and the HSQ for a longer Molly

Do you have more information on that Gondola at Yellowstone? Also, is it neccecary to specify it’s fixed? Detacheble jigbakcs don’t make a lot of sense to me.

It will be from a ski run on the Eglise side up to some houses along the golf course. Just two 8 passenger cabins. 2x1x8 MGFJ is how Doppelmayr describes it.

Did Bousquet get the winning bid on Hayfever or Witches at Hermitage?

Negative, all the Hermitage lifts were acquired by the homeowner group which bought the club.

So I guess it is the old Barnstormer triple.

No, Hayfever. What I’m saying is it was not sold as part of the auction.

Where’d you get the info for the Sunbowl replacement at Camelback? I can’t seem to find anything online or on any websites

Glad to see ORDA stepping up this year. But surprised Partek didn’t get one of the bids.

I don’t think ORDA was very satisfied after Partek built the Village and Hudson triples which explains why there haven’t been any more built since.

With both Mammoth lifts delayed to 2021, this was the first offseason since 2010 where CA/NV had no new lifts.

Seeing a new pic on Loch Lomond’s Facebook Page (:Loch Lomond – Thunder Bay Ontario ) . A pic of their Fall 2020 BBQ shows new chairs on what used to be a 1986 BM Quad chair. Did they change anything more more than the chairs? (Change the towerheads too, that one in the Instagram pic does not look like a BM towerhead. Just asking

Wonder if one wasatch will ever come. Highly doubtful the pc/brighton link will ever happen now with vail and alterra, but I wonder if the cottonwoods will link up.

I would say there is a good chance Grizzly gets built at Alta one day, perhaps in the next 5-10 years. When that happens, I could see Solitude building Honeycomb depending on the relationship between the owners of Alta and Solitude at that point. The Guardsman connection between Brighton and Park City is the unlikeliest connection to happen.

Can confirm…Pfister’s supposed to return with the new assemblies in early May. Apparently he got some from Okemo’s boneyard among other sources.

Cottonwood linkup won’t happen unless the resorts get the environmentalists to shut up.

I’m not seeing the reason for the environmentalists against Grizzly Gulch. Mary Ellen Gulch makes makes more sense for water reasons but Grizzly Gulch doesn’t have a whole lot that can be damaged by making it lift served. I also don’t understand why they don’t like the Little Cottonwood gondola. If anything, less people are using the road and more people are using an energy efficient approach. All the negatives I had heard from environmental groups are mostly due to their lack of understanding of how the lift works and the different available features. Some gondolas even have solar panels on the cabins, but I doubt that would make it in Utah.
