I would assume it’s cheaper in some way, I don’t see any other reason for it.

It’s easier to relocate grips on a detach- no disassembly required.

Also, The manufacturer may not make a fixed grip beefy enough to hold a gondola cabin, or they don’t build *enough* fixed pulses to warrant developing one.

Rumour has it going to Farr’s Hill, Vt. From snowjournel posts…If that is true, I believe it will be the beginner T-bar from Oak Mountain, NY, which is being sold to “an area in Vermont”. Stay tuned.

Does anyone know if the new Bluewood lift is planned to serve the whole drainage to the west of the current area (Vintner’s Ridge and west of it), which appears to be in their permit area, or just go to the top of Vintner’s Ridge from within the current terrain?

I’m not to sure if it would also serve the whole drainage basin but on Google earth there is a section of cleared trees that looks similar to a lift line. Could it be the liftline for the future Vintner ridge lift?
