This lift was built in 2002 and abandoned after only a few years. As of 2016, the haul rope has been removed.

    Why was this pretty new lift abandoned and not sold? They should have made some money selling it.

      This lift has been completely removed besides the lift houses. Hopefully, it’s getting sold. Still, this was a waste of a lift.

    I agree, there has to be plenty of mountains that would love a newer platter.

    What was the point of this lift to begin with, considering that was redundant with Discovery?

      It was built to relieve the lines @ Disco, if you’ve ever seen ski school lines for Disco on a weekend, you would understand why. Unfortunately beginners didn’t take to using the platter that much and it wasn’t used much after it was installed.
