Think you need to update Meadows chair to a triple. You have it listed as a quad.

Looks like it was just changed. It was actually installed as a CP quad by Borvig back in ’81, but it was a nightmare for riders and operators due to uneven chair weighting and the double safety bars. With Sullivan taking a lot of load off of Bailey and Meadows, they really didn’t need the capacity (And still barely ever need triple capacity) so they installed the old triple chairs from Cleopatra which were replaced by Borvig ones along with most of that lift (the reasoning behind that I have yet to find out). It also got a new Partek motor room.

Borvig, being based in Pine Island NY was very close to both Mountain Creek and Camelback (15-minute drive to Vernon). Before buying exclusively from Borvig from 1972 (Sunbowl I) to 1992 (Cleopatra upgrade), they bought a Hall double (Sullivan), a Hall J Bar (Coolmor), two Alpine Lift T-Bars (Interstate, Sunbowl), and a Riblet triple (Cleo). Virtually everywhere in Borvig’s home region (NJ, South NY, East PA) got a Borvig lift, and they were also the “cheap” alternative for Eastern resorts instead of the more high-end alternative, Hall.

I think most people will agree that KSL has been a pretty terrible operator of Camelback so far. I have absolutely no idea why they do not pass it to Alterra, especially since KSL does not even own the mountain. They are simply the operators while EPR is the owner.

Did some looking on YouTube and I came across multiple videos showing the two lifts. Coolmor II appears to be a typical late 80s Borvig double chair, but there is something off about Coolmor I. It is the older of the two and was relocated to Camelback in 1980 along with the Glen lift from the former Rappahannock Ski Area in Virginia. In the two videos I am linking here, notice the drive, return and carrier designs, which are nothing like what you’d expect from Borvig. Perhaps someone has a guess at who originally built this lift?

Those chairs and towers look distinctly Pullman-Berry. The bottom terminal appears to have been modified by Borvig with a newer motor room, but the rest of the lift looks like a Pullman-Berry double. It doesn’t appear on any of the installation records, so it was probably a relocation.

It is Pullman-Berry. I say “is” because Coolmoor I still exists in storage!
