The only real way to tell Paradise is newer than Canadian Rockies is that its chairs and terminals have the current Leitner-Poma logo instead of the yellow swoosh logo, and its tower numbers are on the right hand side of the lifting frames rather than the left hand side.
The first picture is of the Paradise triple, which the Canadian Rockies Express did not replace. CRE replaced Tranquilizer (second photo) and the Kiefer T-bar (in the bottom right corner of first photo).

Directly, this lift replaced the Eagle Express’s auxiliary lift Tranquilizer, as well as the Kiefer T-Bar on the Caribou Ridge.

This was the replacement for Tranquilizer, which functioned more as a supplementary lift to Eagle.
