Broken down as of February 2023. Now closed for season. City employees have no ability to source parts and repair. Seriously? Hall were once Americas largest lift manufacturer, how hard did they try?
I’d cut them some slack. If the city is responsible for maintenance and upkeep, it’s quite likely they have someone from the city maintenance department looking after this and that person probably has little training on lifts- much like I don’t know a ton about vehicles.
Hall may once have been huge, but not since the early 80s. Depending on the repairs necessary, it may require custom fabrication as well- something Doppelmayr (current holder of most Hall patents/designs through their acquisition of Von Roll, which in turn partnered/purchased Hall in the early 80s) probably isn’t doing on a regular basis. Casey undoubtedly knows more about this particular situation.

This Lift probably came from Diamond Peak, I am seeing lots of removed lifts from there being hall.
