This Chair has been at Earl Bales for about 15 to 20 years. I recall at from my memories at the time that it came from Horseshoe Valley, though it could be parts of several lifts from several places. I don’t know the specifics. This lift replaced one of two t bars that were at site.
I just was here and I looked at the chairs that were taken off the line. Chairs say leitner on them but I don’t know if the rest of the lift is, I think most likely considering the tower heads.
Maybe borving or a built in house lift, I’ve never seen anything like it.

The park is owned and operated by the city of Toronto, so it wouldn’t surprise me if it was homemade using whatever resources the city had

This was probably manufactured by BM Lifts or Skyway. I don’t know when it was built or whether it was a new install or a relocation.
