Eagle – Badger Pass, CA

In 2008, Doppelmayr upgraded a Lift Engineering triple with mostly new equipment.
Along the line, the only old parts are the tower tubes.
The entire lift parallels a Hall double called Red Fox.

Nearing the summit.
Doppelmayr CTEC welded a new bullwheel structure onto the old height adjustable column.

Nice to see recent (2017) photos of the lifts in Yosemite. As a correction, no towers were removed when Eagle was rebuilt in 2008. Towers were lowered or extended but all remain.

I guess a height adjustable top station was no longer needed?

Groomers can push snow down the hill a lot easier than pushing it up.

The height adjustable top terminal was very rarely needed anyway. The wind and the groomers keep the snow from getting too deep up there.
