This lift has the same ending location as the old one, but does not start in the same place. The old lift started right next to Teewinot. This lift follows a route closer to and parallel to the Bridger Gondola, and does not appear to start at the base. You’d have to ride Sweetwater to mid first and then ski down to this lift and lap it.
Me neither. If this lift had Doppelmayr’s EJ chairs, it’d be a different story (since the Skytrac lifting frames are closer in resemblance to Doppelmayr’s design than Leitner-Poma’s).
I agree. I have nothing against Skytrac as a whole, I just don’t care for the chair design. It’d look better as either a bail, or like the redesigned center pole chairs for Riblet quads.
You are correct LPOA sheaves mounted in Skytrac sheave beams, this was a popular combo of components offered in 2019, I think only Lookout Pass whent 100% skytrac.

Honestly I really am not a fan of the Skytrac chair design at all. It just looks ugly. The bail/omega chairs look much better in my opinion.

Really? I don’t think they look that bad.

Skytrac’s double chairs are about the only one which look right.

Note the L-P sheaves and assemblies.

They are not L-P sheaves or assemblies. They are 100% Skytrac design.

Looks like LPOA sheaves in a Skytrac/CTEC style frame

Why doesn’t it start at the base? doesn’t that waste a ride on Sweetwater?

There’s no space down at the base.

how do you bump a skytrac chair?

The small handle on the outside is what I’ve seen lifties use, and it’s what I use when I self bump.
