The original Galaxy lift was a Hall triple built in 1979. It started around tower 7 on the current lift, shown in the 8th picture, so only the upper trails existed. When this lift was built, it was extended downward along with the terrain. This lift doesn’t operate many hours. I believe it only opened for the season the day these pictures were taken (January 16th, 2021). As of a few seasons ago, it also only ran on weekends, though I’m not sure if that’s still the case.
This lift would run full hours on weekends and run some weekdays but usually only partial hours on those days. My school’s ski club would arrive on Monday nights and we would rush to get over here since that was also about the time they wrapped up this lift for the night.
