As much as I’m not a fan of LP designs, the LPA terminal looks great in black. Shame it’s not built more like this.

Even as a Leitner-Poma fan, this color choice really does put other LPAs to shame.

The resort chooses the color of the top and the siding color.

Still annoying LPA didn’t put a tiny bit more effort in and stain the under skin wood the same colour as the darker wood on the siding. My OCD isn’t loving it

This lift is great and all but it really doesn’t need to be six

Going off the numbers in the spreadsheet, this lift has the same capacity as any other triple. Keep in mind, the size of a carrier does not determine the capacity of a lift.

How do you figure? This lift is jam packed on any weekend during high season and on powder days.

I love that the lift is fast and holds six passengers. It has a few things going against it. It unloads onto a fairly narrow catwalk. The chairs are spaced about 190 feet apart so not to dump a ton of people onto the catwalk.

The narrow catwalk is a problem. I doubt they could widen it much, but they could create a parallel catwalk slightly down hill. The lower catwalk would allow advanced skiers to access Casino and Volcano while the upper catwalk would let intermediate skiers bypass the runs and go directly to Logjam.

Another problem is they have only one singles line and several multi skier lines. They need two singles lines that merge together.

If they make some changes, they could add a few more chairs or at least make it more efficient.
