These photos were taken just before this lift was dismantled in 2020.This lift lasted only 15 years but had a previous life elsewhere.Tower with aftermarket lifting frame.Tension terminal.View up the lift line.Top four towers.Looking down the line. The top station. It is rare for a lift built in 2005 to not have bullwheel loading or unloading.Wooden slat chairs.Upper two thirds of the lift seen from above.Top station overview.Bottom station overview.
It was probably removed because it is no longer needed, and frankly, a waste of space. It didn’t really service any terrain that couldn’t be accessed from the other two chairlifts. The other two chairs were never really clogged up to the point where this lift needed to be run, either. It does them better in a scrapyard.
Why was this lift removed?
