Any idea why this lift has DT grips? Vail has in the past religiously gotten the AG grips ever since the UNI-G was available. Emerald at Whistler Blackcomb and this lift are the only exceptions I believe.
I imagine it’s for consistency since the other Doppelmayr lifts built on the Canyons side in recent years use DT grips (Orange Bubble and Iron Mountain).
Actually, so do many of the Doppelmayr lifts on the Park City side as well (First Time and Crescent). Meaning the only AG grips in Park City are on King Con and the Quicksilver Interconnect.

Can you get from the top of High Meadow Express over to Echo run, or Orange Bubble Express?

No, High Meadow ends quite a bit lower that the top of Echo. Saddleback will get you to there though.

I wonder why they used new towers? Maybe it’s a slightly different alignment? I’ve never skied here with the old High Meadow.
