J2 – June Mountain, CA

Like three of the four fixed-grip lifts at June, J2 received a new Yan drive-tension terminal in 1986, when Mammoth bought the ski area.

This lift is an SLI but features Riblet sheaves and insert clips.

The top terminal is also new Yan.
It is height adjustable.

No, it was always a SLI lift. It was installed around the same time as J4. Perhaps the video showed J3 when it used to go to the top of June Mountain where J7 does now?
