Like three of the four fixed-grip lifts at June, J2 received a new Yan drive-tension terminal in 1986, when Mammoth bought the ski area.Side view of the lower station. This lift is an SLI but features Riblet sheaves and insert clips.Lower station with portal depression sheaves.Middle section of the lift line.Looking down from near the summit. The uppermost part of the line.A look down from the summit. The top terminal is also new Yan.It is height adjustable.Unloading ramp.Yan remote controls. The drive terminal seen from above.
About the riblet sheaves and insert clips this lift actually used to be a riblet this lift used to have riblet chairs and terminals I saw this from an old video
No, it was always a SLI lift. It was installed around the same time as J4. Perhaps the video showed J3 when it used to go to the top of June Mountain where J7 does now?
