Peter, can you please note that on the main page for Big Sky?

It was built in 1955 at Brighton so technically this lift is one of the oldest in the US.

I’m just kind of curious why people think that this was majestic from Brighton the terminals and towers aren’t the same. There were 4 towers that were similar to these the bottom terminal was only drive meanwhile the top was only counterweight now granted these things can change but still I feel like this was not from Brighton but if you can prove me wrong go for it I’m kind of interested to see if people have evidence that this was the true majestic that was at Brighton
Some links to see the lift in its former spot at Brighton

I would guess that some of the other towers on this lift came from Evergreen at Brighton. The drive terminal looks to be only modified to a combined drive/tension on the original motor room.

Evergreen was removed in 2007 though

You’re right, my mistake. I would guess that Big Sky recycled some towers from Challenger when it was rebuilt by Superior Tramway.
