Abasin is adding a rope tow, I believe it’s called the Lazy J. It connects the top of Lenawee and Montezuma. See the new trail map and master plan. Very little info on it.

Thanks Luke. It will be a Leitner-Poma Telecorde. I generally don’t include rope tows or carpets on my site because they get moved around so much and are hard to keep track of. Next year’s Beavers lift will also be Leitner-Poma.

Thunderbird’s installation is not complete. When I went there on Sunday, half the chairs remain unhung and there were no safety bars. They should have kept the Hall T-bar for this season if they weren’t going to finish building the Riblet triple.

They never ran the T-bar anyways so it makes no difference. The lift is being installed in-house so the maintenance crew is going to work on it whenever they have the chance rather than a dedicated install crew that will work on only that and finish it much quicker. It’s on the same route as the T-bar so there was no way they’d be able to have the T-bar open and the chair being built

Looks like only Belleayre and Snowbasin went with DT grips on the Doppelmayr detachables. The other six went with AG grips. I thought it would’ve been split more evenly.

Does anyone know where Horseshoe Resort’s old Doppelmayr DT Quad went (“Atomic Express”)? It was dismantled after the 2017 winter season and it all ended up on a truck and left. They even took the lift huts. I heard it went to Quebec. Can anyone confirm?
