This was originally the Summit Double at Belleayre. It ran where the Superchief does now, but started further up, adjacent to the Overlook Lodge instead of well below it. I think this is the only case in North America where there are 3 lifts still operating that have or had occupied a single location. There is of course this lift and the current lift operating at Belleayre, and the short lived fixed grip quad between this lift and the detachable is at Catamount. Plattekill installed this lift in-house. The lift and the terrain off it is very much loved by Plattekill regulars.
I was referring to different generations of lifts from the same spot still operating. Like this lift followed the Superchief route from 1977-1999 and was relocated to Plattekill, then the fixed quad from 1999-2006 which was relocated to Catamount, and the current lift from 2006-today
What Collin was referring to was 3 lifts on the same alignment and the two older ones still operating elsewhere. This was the Summit Double at Belleayre, which was replaced in 1999 with a Garaventa-CTEC quad and sent here in 2003 where it still operates (That’s this lift). That Garaventa-CTEC quad was replaced with a detachable in 2006 (Which is still operating at Belleayre) and the fixed quad, with the exception of parts reused in the replacement, was sent to Catamount where it is still operating.

Expo at Tremblant once had a single and two doubles running side by side before they were all replaced by the High Speed Quad Expo.

The summit of Wildcat has had 3 lifts on the same alignment. The original Catapult Double, then the Catapult Triple, now the Wildcat Express quad.
