This lift has no slow button and it is glued to one speed. Every time they start it, you are gonna want to hold on because this lift gets going quick and the chairs swing and the cable bounces. It’s a pretty nice lift overall for its age
I assume Conan is the primary of the two lifts, correct? The only thing that makes me think otherwise is that Proud Mary seems to start more at the base while Conan is off to the side a bit

Yes the Conan is the primary lift. The Proud Mary is the backup. If there is not enough snow for the lifts to run, they just use the rope tow.

What does not make since to me is how far away the Conan is from the base. Idk why they did not install it closer
