The weather has been very challenging for taking pictures but Tremblant and Bromont are my top priorities.

The poma quad was auctioned off. Parts of the three double chairs can still be seen on various places on the mountain.

Yes, please photograph Mont-Orignal, and please don’t forget the abandoned Samson double (Le Petit Rouge at Mont-Sutton, too, please)!

Ski Vorlage and Camp Fortune (I think also called Mont Cascades) are the ones I want. Vorlage has a cool old Poma double – there is a video on Slope Edge – and Camp Fortune has a Leitner quad as well as a ton of other things.

Are you planning to go to the Ottawa Area anytime soon? MSM has some interesting Poma Detachables from the ’80s, Edelweiss has an old detachable with potral towers on the heavy side, and Camp Fortune has a Leitner Quad.

Also one I just learned about today called Do-Mi-Ski with a Poma triple (might be a new area in the last few years with a used lift?) Also Les Glissades and Le Valinouet. I will get to as many as I can throughout the week. Quebec is massive and chock full of ski areas! When I finally finish it will have taken years of visits.

besides most 1980s Doppelmayr HSQ from quebec, old fourrunner at stowe and the Spirit of Alyseka chair in alaska

there were 3 other doppelmayr high speed lifts with the separate drive setup

2 were in sweden and 1 is in georgia

Every Quebec Chairlift without footrests **_** means lift had footrests at one point

    Belle Neige: **The Double Chair**
    Camp Fortune: The Pineault Triple
    Do Mi Ski’s Chair
    The 3 Tubing only chairlifts
Mont Cascades: Triple and Mini Chairs
Owls Head: The old Lake Chair aka the worlds first detachable quad, chairs were replaced with ones with footrests towards the end of lifecycle
    Sommet Edleweiss: **Edelbahn Express**
Morin Heights: All Chairs, Dynastar used to have footrests
Sommet Olympia: “The triple chair” (Mixed)
Sommet Gabriel: The new Quad Chair
Montcalm: The 2 doubles and the quad
    Saint-Bruno: All but 1 quad
    Vorlage: The Poma Double
All of Sommet Saint-Sauveur lifts minus new Atomic and Avila FGQ

How come mountains in Quebec seemed to opt for the older design of having a fixed grip terminal powering a detach when the CLD-260 was available at the time? I know doppelmayr had some sort of facility in Quebec, could it be that that facility did not make CLD-260s?

I don’t think that Doppelmayr Canada at St-Jérôme offered CLD-260 in Quebec, only the cool model that is looking like Alpha-Evolutive. The only examples of CLD-260 that comes in mind to me are Le Soleil at Mont Tremblant and La Tempête at Stoneham, both built with bubbles in 1988. The bubbles on L’Express du Sud at Mont Sainte-Anne have been added after its construction, and that’s what may explain why it doesn’t have bubbles. It also have been built two years before the others, in 1986.
