The unload on this lift is by far the most convoluted one I have ever experience.

      What does convoluted mean?

Either extremely complex and difficult to follow or intricately folded, twisted, or coiled.

Try unloading Snowbasin’s Middle bowl CTEC triple chairlift. It requires a sharp turn to the left because of a lodge infront of it. They relocated the top terminal downhill to make way for the lodge in 1998 I believe.

Or Chair 6 at Crystal. Middle bowl is definitely funky, but 6 can be almost impossible in a strong southwesterly.

Where did the YAN parts come from

The original Scott was a Yan double. Looks to me like CTEC reused quite a bit, and just pushed the axles out a bit to increase line gauge on the towers.

Why is there a tire that the haul rope goes under on the light side on tower 6? Is its purpose to function kind of like a miniature combination assembly?
