This lift is one of a handful of similar lifts operated in the Eastern United States by Wade Shows.View north. The southern station houses drive and tensioning equipment.View north along the midway.Return station.View looking south from the return terminal. The towers aren’t numbered but this would be number 11.Unlike some fair lifts, this one stays up year round.A carrier.Tower 2.Arriving at the drive station. Each end has a Mueller portal tower just for fun.Side view of the southern 5 towers.
Did the towers come from Evergreen Valley, ME? Their three lifts went to Bigrock and only one was installed. All three of those lifts had that one tower of that style.
Wade Shows also does the New York State Fair. I wonder if this is a traveling lift. The skyride at the New York State Fair has the same exact tower design.
They don’t have to worry about it in Florida, the lift stays standing but the chairs are used elsewhere since Florida’s fair is in February. In the Caribbean, I’ve seen chairs and cabins removed in advance of a hurricane.

According to a photo description up above, this lift runs year round, so this one doesn’t get taken down and moved to other locaitons.
