Another thing: this lift is in severe disrepair. In a brief video I took last weekend (https://youtu.be/iqcgZ9h039U), one can see that many of the seat pads are ripped beyond belief. The towers are rusty and also need a repainting.
Since the lift is a reliever and isn’t too important, I imagine that they’ll just let it rust away until it reaches a state like the old Snow Bowl Quad. That was not in good condition and somehow Magic thinks that a coat of paint can solve everything… Think again.
Snowbowl Quad was in pretty good shape compared to South American. Sure, it was rusty, but you could tell that they at least cared *a little bit* about it. You can’t say that about this quad.
This was the main lift out of the base area yesterday because Amex was not able to run with all of the built up ice. Was definitely at full capacity the entire day.

The GoPro branding on the drive terminal has been removed as of November 2019.

That is interesting given that GoPro is maintaining its sponsorship/partnership with Stratton for this upcoming winter.

The advertising was quite old. I personally think that they should wrap the gondola cabins somehow with GoPro advertising.

In the video in question, what you see appears to be thick ice on the padding. it does not look like ripped pads to me.

Not seen in the video were two chairs with no seat pads at all.

To fill in some of the missing information about this lift: its capacity is 2100, length is ~2790 ft, and vertical is ~535 ft.
