Why though? What’s the point of relocating this lift? Is there something I’m missing here?

They are building a new detach quad in the original alignments place this summer.

Why didn’t they just keep Sweet where it was and build the new one in this alignment?

They were originally going to make the new lift a six pack, but I think they didn’t have a enough money to make it a six pack but they already were moving the lift when that happened.

The reason for the new tower is because this had an integrated portal assembly in the original alignment.

I didn’t think detachable lifts without safety/comfort bars existed

This looks to be on the Poison Ivy alignment, with the new Sweet Express built on the original alignment. No clue why they did that as I’d assume it would have been much cheaper to build a new quad on Poison Ivy as that would be only 1 lift instead of 2.

They’re actually replacing the Snowberry lift with the new High speed quad. I went there a few weeks ago and that was the sign on the snowberry lift. This may make some sense as it loads about the same spot as their beginner lift as well as how they re-did some of their interior lodge and patio space this past year.

Yes if he can’t stay on the left for the approximate minute and 30 seconds you probably should not be on a ski lift
