T-Bar – Salmo, BC

This ski area has only one overhead lift but is quite large with over 1,200 vertical feet of skiing.
Doppelmayr built this T-Bar in 1972.
The drive equipment is located in the building behind the bottom bullwheel.
View back down the track.
The lift is over 4,000 feet long.
Top station with tensioning.
Another view of the top terminal above the unloading area.
There are three designated unloading areas.
Lower part of the lift line.
The beginner area.
Widely spaced towers – capacity on this lift is only 600 per hour.
Top lift shack.
A Doppelmayr tower.

Looks like a fun spot! If I ever end up living in the Metaline Falls area, this would end up as my local ski hill.
