This lift is a Monarch Standard not XT (you can tell by the space by the ladder) it also is the first Skytrac ordered by Vail resorts and the first Skytrac to have 4/4 combos. I had a nice time building it with Casey, Joe, Phil and Mike.
There are five combi towers on this lift: towers 2, 3, 6, 11, and 12. The only lift on the mountain with more combi towers than that is the Silver Queen Express lift with seven (6, 7, 11, 12, 15, 20, 21).
I don’t think it is very high trafficked terrain and its flat at the top. Plus it’s 3700 ft long which is an short length for a HSQ and the ride time is still only 8.4 min which is not too long compared to other fixed grips. Anything over a 10 min ride time needs a HSQ.
East River (3458 feet long) is shorter than Teocalli.
I think in general, CBMR intends that you’ll spend most of your time on the Paradise Express and East River Express when you’re in this part of the mountain.

Why did vail not opt for LP with this lift?

Cheapest bidder, probably. Vail also went with Skytrac for the Over and Out lift at PCMR, so they could’ve also had a discount.

Why did vail not make this a detachable quad? It sure would have made lapping the terrain a lot better.
