This lift is similar to the Little Whiteface and Mountain Run lifts because a lift that ran alone was upgraded to a tandem lift, even though it wasn’t originally designed for it.

Seems weird that they built a double-double as recently as 2009.

It looks like the towers were reused from the previous double. Those towers look to be original with new tower heads, so the previous lift may have had the towers for a double-double, but with a lift on one side.

I grew up skiing there. New towers. The old ones were cast right into the concrete footings. No bolts. Green chairs are originals with wood replaced by plastic.

Are the Thundercloud 1 sheaves and grips also from the 1974 lift?

Are these the only Partek top drive lifts?
