Versant des Épinettes – Bromont, QC

This Poma Alpha quad became the sixth new chairlift in six years for Bromont in 2011.
The equipment came used from Montjoye.

Why do all of Bromont’s lifts look like preschool toys? Seriously that color scheme is pretty awful.

They are actually in the process of retiring this paint scheme in favor of a nice dark gray. The previous identity was certainly unique.

To quote my boss in a discussion of apple varieties: you can be wrong.

Gray, dark green, black, silver, all boring. This is what chairs should be like. I miss the 80s and 90s Bachelor/Stevens colours.

Note the lift has different colors.

The bottom terminal looks like a Poma drive crossed with a Riblet drive.

I actually love those old colors they are so unique and different looking than other places. It fits well in an area with very little color to begin with.
