Villager – Stratton, VT

The only true beginner chairlift at Stratton is called Villager.

The top bullwheel is narrower than line gauge so there are vertical and horizontal sheaves on the last tower.

    Narrower than line gauge? Interesting. The drive appears to be older than the rest of the lift. . .is it reused? From the lift spreadsheet it looks like they could have used the Heron drive from NA.

      I would assume so, they wouldn’t add in those awkward horizontal sheaves on any lift with a new drive.

        Believe it or not, this is the original drive for the lift. A few early poma lifts have narrower bullwheels. Look at the old snow bowl quad. It also has a narrower bullwheel.
