Still find this a headscratcher. A fixed grip with a loading carpet would have been much cheaper and at this length, about the same length ride. Seems like a bit overkill.
They are running this lift at about 850 feet per minute and you’d only get 350-400 for a fixed grip serving beginner terrain, even with a loading carpet. It’s a 2 minute ride vs at least 5 minutes with how often the fixed grip would stop.
