Per the lift database on skilifts.org, (and assuming the info on CWSSA.org is correct about the origins of this lift), this lift was originally installed at Stewart, BC in 1969 by Alpine Lift. The main mine in Stewart (Granduc mine) closed in 1978, and according to a local historian, the town was economically devastated, marking the closure of the ski hill. So it’s fairly safe to assume that by the 1980s, the t-bar was moved to Troll.
