Park #4 – China Peak, CA

The bottom terminal is located in the woods behind the loading zone.
The sheaves can be raised or lowered for snow depth.
Tower 1 is also before loading.
Near the top.
Fixed drive up top.
Unloading ramp.
View down from the summit.
Upper lift line.
Middle lift line in the trees.
Lower line.
Return terminal one tower below the loading area.
Load point at tower 2.
Base station overview.
Looking back down the line.
This lift has a crazy number of towers for how short it is.
Riblet tower head.
Breakover towers.

I’ve never seen a flyover load on a triple before.

Caples Crest at Kirkwood is another triple with flyover loading, but it was originally installed as a double.

Black at Magic had one of these, although it was originally constructed as a double

A lot of the Riblet quads at both Boyne resorts have flyover loads.

The Knome’s Knoll Triple at Pico, VT has one, and it was built as a triple and always has been.

Anyone know where the tapered tower in picture 14 came from?

The crossarm configuration on tower 3 makes me think it was originally a compression tower for the light side as well because it has a halo and crossarm on the light side too.
