Whenever I try to view an area’s lifts, it says google docs has encountered an error. Why is this?

Good question. I’ve heard reports before but never gotten that error myself. Try clearing your browser’s cache and/or using an incognito/private browsing window.

Peter, would you please get pictures of The Balsams? They have two Parteks and a Riblet double.

I tried but it is private property and heavily posted no trespassing. Don’t think they want people taking photos of the current condition. If they reopen I would love to.

Believe it’s just sitting there. Nothing has happened yet to reopen though.

It’s incredible how the demise of the Boston to North Conway Snow Train in the 70s and the construction of I-93 and I-89 in the 70s and 80s really shifted the New Hampshire ski center from east to west. Since the late 70s and early 80s, annual skier visits at Wildcat, Attitash, and Cranmore are relatively flat, while Loon, Mt. Sunapee, and Ragged annual skier visits have all more than doubled.

Just stumbled upon an ad on the CHS website and apparently there’s a used CTEC quad being installed somewhere in New Hampshire. I would post a link but WordPress apparently doesn’t like that. It can be found in the classifieds listing on their website.

Does anyone know what mountain is relocating a CTEC quad and where it supposedly came from? Willoughby at Burke and the quad from Kennywood comes to mind for recently removed CTEC quads. Pats Peak could also be a possibility with the triples from Ascutney but I am not sure how easy it would be to convert a CTEC triple to a quad.
