There was originally supposed to be another Cascade Basin lift. Currently Pat’s Peak has two used lifts in storage. Another CTEC triple from Ascutney, and a CTEC quad from Lake Compounce Amusement Park. I think the triple will become the 2nd Cascade Basin lift and the quad will replace the Valley Double as it is difficult to get parts for Mueller lifts now.
They have so much redundancy in lifts at Pat’s Peak that lift lines are rarely a problem – except this area. Lines can build up at this lift, as there’s no other options once you reach the bottom. I am curious as to why this area opens later in the morning than the main mountain. Seems like it should be able to open with the rest of the lifts.

Where would/will this lift run? Up the power line to the main summit?
