I think the single chair has been removed. I found the location of the ski area and the lodge and the single chair have Both been removed. The top terminal is still partially standing. If you look up Eagle Rock, Wyoming, it’s just south of 180.
A guy in Evanston had some that he sold. They are only 6’ tall and it looks
Like they were cut down at some time in the past. I have 8 of them. Do you have any history on these single
Chairs? Want to sell the trail map
Actually, I just found some more information. The single chair was constructed by a company called “Intermountain Ski Lifts Ltd.” out of Utah (the company still exists today). The chair had 55 seats. I believe Intermountain Lifts have a picture of the chair on their website. I’ll link it.
I’d just make a quick flicker account that’s what I use to post photos from my drive. Also they look pretty similar to the single chair at Sundance back in the day. The link did not work on the device I used though I just remember the post for the chairs!
Anyone know what happened to the old Eagle Rock single chair? I can’t get any info on it other than this trail map from 1980, and this blog from 1996.

Could you post a photo of your single chair? We might be able to identify the manufacturer.

Still haven’t found any pictures, but I did find an article from 1991 that explained very well why the ski resort closed.

Not sure this will open. It is a picture of 3 of the chairs that I bought from the guy in Evanston. They do not look like the chairs shown by Skier72

Here is a link to a colorado ski history post about it:http://coloradoskihistory.org/lost/wy_barrett.html
Apparently the lift was made out of an old mining tram from 1898!
