A week into operations, they’re having a lot of trouble with the loading carpet and posted signs around the mountain that Aurora was closed for the day on Saturday 1/11. It was operating for people who were parked down at the new base (or said you were). Loading carpet was covered with snow and the gates were open. I wonder if they’ll bother to turn the carpet back on this year given the small crowds in the first year there.
Vail abandoned the 90-degree loading carpet on their heavily traveled Chair 4 six pack pretty quickly. It’s still there but covered with plywood and they load in line now.
Love the latest EJ chairs!

Not these ones. Everything on these bolts together; the long-serving EJ/EC was mostly welded.
