There are plans to eventually replace this lift with a six-pack chondola/telemix. I think part of the reason for having gondola cabins is to further utilize the lake in the summer. The equipment here should be new enough where they can hopefully put it somewhere else on the mountain.
The lines on this lift are completely ridiculous. We usually stay here for a bit in the morning and go elsewhere. Definitely the main lift here and does access a ton of runs with views of the lake behind! They should replace it with a six or eight pack at some point
That will/can never happen, literally, because the summer mountain biking season is so key to their model, they could never take that lift down for the summer, ANY summer. Use the South/Lower Ballhooter side and/or ride the single line, if you MUST use that lift.
