Is this perhaps the last T-bar with Borvig sheaves? For that matter, did they add the first tower and the drive? And why are the vertical I-beams (or are they H-beams? It is hard to tell) on some towers perfectly straight, while on other towers, it appears that several were spliced together to reach the desired height? Is this a modification or is this original? Further, are the towers embedded in the concrete or are they bolted to it?

This could be the last T-Bar with Borvig sheaves, but there are at least two Borvig J-Bars still operating that I know of (Powder Ridge, MN and Roundtop, PA). Not sure about the drive, but the first tower definitely looks like a Borvig retrofit given the square tube and crossarm. Also not sure about the towers — I’ve seen photos of other Constam T-Bars with similar-looking portal towers but never with this spliced design, so that could be a modification. No idea about whether the towers are embedded or bolted.

This rarely runs, it did run yesterday and today though.
