This chairlift was the first to open indoors in the United States.
Doppelmayr CTEC Sprint bottom terminal.
The top terminal with no operator house.
The upper station also doubles as an emergency exit.
All of the lift’s towers come down from the ceiling.

    Wow. Being a liftie is boring, but at least you get to be outside, in the hills and/or mountains or riverbanks or somewhere not inside. This looks soul sucking.

    At some point after these pictures were taken, American flags were added to each ceiling tower. The chairs are spaced tightly but the lift runs painfully slow so it’s actually really easy to load and unload, although I would have thought that a ski place with a single chairlift and controllable weather/climate would have a better unloading platform geometry & snowpack…

    But why am I complaining? I went skiing in September! They extended the terrain park all the way up skier’s left to the top of the lift, pretty sweet ride up when everybody is lapping the park.
