This Riblet triple was built in the 1990s to replace an older double.View down the line.Lower lift line.Bottom terminal with drive and tensioning.Loading area.Leaving the bottom terminal.Riding up the line.Top terminal.
This lift was installed around 1995 per that year’s trail map. However, it does not show up in any SAM lift installation survey between 1988 and 1995. Does anybody know if this was a relocation of a fairly new design, or maybe it just wasn’t reported? Chair 4 is the 1997 install. There was double chair previously on this line that it replaced.
Skilifts.org/SAM had a tendancy to get mixed up between Alpine Valley, Michigan and Alpine Valley, Wisconsin. Would this 1995 Riblet triple be acurate for this lift? http://www.skilifts.org/old/install_na1995.htm
Yes! Those stats look dead nuts compared to available topo maps and other tools, so this looks like the one. I haven’t completed my research on Alpine Valley, WI, but this is a pretty good assumption. Thank you for the insight! Seems like an easy mistake…
