Chairlift – Rushmore Tramway Adventures, SD

This lift originally operated as a pulse gondola but was heavily modified to become a chairlift.
It has 36 triple chairs and five towers.
Tower 4.
Top tension station with bullwheel unloading.
Tension carriage.
Unload overview.
T5.
Return bullwheel.
That namesake mountain.
Tower 3 with Riblet sheaves.
Lower terminal overview.

    Did Riblet build this as a pulse gondola, or was it originally a fixed-grip lift, then modified into a pulse gondola, and then eventually modified back?

    Btw, the number of chairs and towers are swapped. It should be 5 towers and 36 chairs, but the page says 36 towers and 5 chairs

    Had no idea Mt. Rushmore had a chairlift. Really sharp looking riblet!
