You’re right. I redid my research and found that these are ‘reversible funitels,’ or FUN V, and the others are ‘detachable funitels,’ or FUN D. Funifors (FUF) are like dual haul trams, like you said. Sorry for the misinformation.
Is there any other Funitels in North America other than this and the one at Palisades Tahoe?

These are both Funifors, not Funitels. Gold Coast is a proper Funitel. Funifors are also known as FUN Vs, and Funitels as FUN Ds.
