Towers on this lift came from the Telecar lift that was replaced by the Super Chief. The sheaves, chairs, rope and terminals where all new. The lift shack is half of an original Sandia Tram Cabin
This never replaced a Platter/Poma. It ran alongside an old Miner-Denver lift that never ran after it was built. It lasted only from 1968 to 1973 and Sierra being added the year after.
I Learned on the platter in 85′, it ran parallel to Serra lift right next to the cat shop ended on the knoll that is now the entrance to the beginner area
