If you look in the background in the parking lot in the first picture, you can see the former King Con / future Motherlode towerheads stored during the summer of 2015.
It’s the first lift most never evers learning here take. However, it occasionally gets used by intermediate/expert skiers as an easier way to get to Payday and Crescent.
With Eagle being upgraded, this will be a much better lift for beginners since those who’ve used this to access Payday and Crescent from the lower lots will be redirected to use Eagle’s midstation.
Can you get to the Three Kings terrain park from this lift? The trail map indicates that you can, but in the photos it looks like a rope is in the way. If you were able to get to the park, this would be a great way for intermediate-expert skiers to get an extra 15 minutes of skiing out of their (pricey) lift ticket. Also, I wish they would at least run this lift for night skiing if they won’t open Payday or Three Kings.
