Does Hopkins still make lifts today?

Yes and no. The company is now owned by a French ride manufacturer, but the ropeway designs were spun off to sister company Skyfair Inc. in the 1980s. The former owners of Hopkins reorganized as SkyTrans Mfg, and they continue to build chairlifts today. The most recent is the Horizon Skyride pulse chondola at Skyland Ranch, TN. I don’t know whether or not is has received its cabins yet, though.
