Bottom drive terminal with just one concrete mast.Towers 1-2 just out of the base terminal..View up the line.Leitner tower.View down the line.Tower 15.Arriving at the return terminal.Return station with Yan operator house.Another view of the summit terminal.Looking down the line at tower 14.Loading area and maintenance rail.Leitner detachable terminal.Top station from below.
The Villarais Lift and Altispace in France, Schönalmbahn and Angerbahn in Austria, Schöntauf 2 in Italy, Stafel-Seetalhorn in Switzerland ,and the 3 Quad Chairs in Takasu Snow Park Japan have this style of terminal
I feel like this lift is not a compact model, when I compare it to Glacier, the terminals on Larch are much more beefy, even the return, why is that? Also the lift shack does not look like Yan.
These terminals are Leitner’s Automatic terminal design, which came before the design on Glacier, which is Leitner’s Plan de Gralba. The Plan de Gralba is on a majority of Leitner’s lifts in North America.
Interesting, spoke to a mechanic at Fernie, and he said that Larch was the more expensive model, and Glacier the cheaper option. From a maintenance point of view.
This lift is grate it has nice Green runs & blue runs off of it not to busy & lots of the runs have moguls on them.

My bad, after a closer look, it is a Yan lift shack.

Anyone know why the Elevator Shaft run above Larch was removed from the skiable terrain?
