Beautiful lift! Gotta note that the carriers are the more European style, kinda reminds me of Burns at DV and Greenhorn Ranch at Steamboat. I also notice Doppelmayr put in European Towers, but not the conical, d-line kind.
How many lifts in NA have auto-raising safety bars (excluding bubble lifts and lifts equipped with auto locking bars)? I only know of this one and Crest 6 at Brighton.
Not quite. Currently, towers from Europe are conical, towers from US are straight. This may change. eg Red and Creekside Gondola at WB are UNI-G with conical towers.

Is this the 1st chair in North America with this style of chair?

No, there is the Sommet Express at Sommet Saint-Sauveur (with heated seats, but without automatic restrain bars) and Burns Express at Deer Valley.

Yes because the chairs are the CS8 Model chair, we never had CS8 Model Chair in North America

The two you mentioned, Burns Express at Deer Valley, Greenhorn Ranch Express at Steamboat, and the two D-line six packs at Mammoth.

Quite the upgrade from an old T-Bar!

Interesting that this lift doesn’t use conical towers.

Only D-line uses conical towers, so this won’t have them.
