What happened to the originals? Is this newer style still made? For that matter, are those new chairs new or used?

I’ve always liked the bottom terminals of Riblets like this one.

Yes, that would be my video, I got a few others while there that day as well, missed Cedar Park & Colburn as they went on wind hold.

From Lifts 2, 3, or 7, I suppose. Those lifts were removed from here the same year This was put in.

most likely 7 the thin mast for the drive terminal wasn’t introduced until 1969.

Almost definitely 7 since it has the Long Bail chairs introduced in 1969 or 1970.

As of May 25 2023, this lift is all but gone. The final tower still stands, and the top bullwheel assembly is sitting in one of the parking lots. There was lots of leveling happening at the base of the new lift. I was able to snag a sheave liner, as they were kind of just sitting around.

That’s a cool piece of history to snag, lots of my family learned to shred from that lift. I was up at Fall Fest this weekend and was checking out the new Poma-Leitner system going in, really impressive. I love the Cedar Park Express when i’m on the backside, though not nearly as homey and “cozy” in that nostalgic way as the Riblet.
